A simple 7-step guide for “What should I do after downloading?”
If you are not used to installing Windows software, you can check the flow here before purchasing.
Purchase SHIRYU from Stripe or another sales page. When checkout is complete, a download page or download link will be shown. Click the download button or link there.
After clicking “Download,” shiryu_v173.zip will be downloaded. In most cases, it will be saved in your Downloads folder.
Right-click the downloaded ZIP file, then choose “Extract All...” from the menu.
When Windows asks where to extract it, you can usually click “Extract” without changing anything. A new folder will be created in the same location, and setup.exe will be inside.
Open the extracted folder, then double-click setup.exe. This starts the installer. SHIRYU itself will be installed through the steps that follow.
When you run setup.exe, Windows may show a blue prompt asking whether you want to allow this app to make changes to your device. Choose “Yes” to continue.
When the installer opens, click “Next” through the screens. No difficult settings are required.
After installation, a SHIRYU desktop icon will be created. Double-click it to launch SHIRYU. You can also open it from the Start menu.
Once SHIRYU launches, open one of the included models, print it, and start building.
